204SD Sickle Scaler is a double-ended hygiene instrument specifically designed for posterior supragingival scaling. While similar to the standard 204S, the SD version features a more flexible and slightly thinner shank, along with a specialized blade angulation that excels in reaching the distal surfaces of molars. This design allows the clinician to adapt the blade more easily to the varying contours of posterior teeth, making it an effective choice for removing moderate to heavy calculus in areas with tight tissue or restricted access. Double-ended, medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable. It is commonly stocked alongside the 204S rather than as a replacement for it.
