4/5 Discoid Cleoid Carver is a double-ended instrument built for carving and contouring restorative materials during cavity preparation and final placement. The number 4 discoid end has a rounded, disc-shaped blade suited to carving broad occlusal and proximal surfaces, while the number 5 cleoid end narrows to a pointed tip for defining fine anatomical detail such as marginal ridges, fossae, and developmental grooves. The 4/5 pattern is a size step up from the 3/6 pattern, suited to larger posterior occlusal surfaces. Medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
