4/5 Discoid Cleoid Carver is a double-ended instrument built for carving and contouring restorative materials during cavity preparation and final placement. The number 4 discoid end has a rounded, disc-shaped blade suited to carving broad occlusal and proximal surfaces, while the number 5 cleoid end narrows to a pointed tip for defining fine anatomical detail such as marginal ridges, fossae, and developmental grooves.
