The 84 Lucas serrated surgical curette is a double-ended 2 mm spoon instrument with serrated outer blade edges that grip, disrupt, and remove granulation tissue from extraction sockets more aggressively than a smooth-spoon curette, while simultaneously scoring the socket wall to expose fresh bleeding bone and support socket preservation outcomes. The 2 mm serrated spoon enters the narrowest socket dimensions, anterior teeth, single-rooted premolars, and confined apical zones, where larger serrated spoons cannot seat without contacting the lateral walls. The 50° angled terminal shank accesses the socket base and lateral walls from a comfortable approach angle. Double-ended with mirror-image serrated spoons on both ends.
