The double-action jaw mechanism multiplies hand force at the cutting edge, so the serrated jaws remove bone in controlled increments with less grip effort than a single-action design, reducing hand fatigue over a long extraction or implant site preparation. The angled head keeps the operator’s hand and forearm clear of the surgical field while the jaws work directly on the bone margin, useful around impacted teeth, ridge irregularities, and tight interproximal bony septa.
