    Product Description

Distal Angled Luxating Elevator, 2.5mm Tip is a luxating elevator built around a consistent 2.5mm working tip, sized to slide into the periodontal ligament (PDL) space for atraumatic removal of teeth and root fragments. The distal angled geometry is shaped for the distal and lingual aspects of maxillary premolars and molars, where standard straight or curved instruments cannot reach, engaging the back of the tooth at an angle a straight blade cannot match. Working the tip along the root surface with steady, controlled pressure severs PDL fibers ahead of elevation, so the tooth is already loosened by the time leverage is applied rather than relying on the elevator to force it free. The fixed 2.5mm tip width keeps this instrument consistent across the four shapes in the Luxating Elevator family, so switching between straight, curved, and angled patterns during a procedure doesn’t mean adjusting for a different blade width each time. This pattern is generally used as one piece in the four-instrument Luxating Elevator set, since covering every arch position and root angle takes more than a single shape. General dentists and oral surgeons keep this pattern on the tray for atraumatic extraction technique where preserving the socket walls and surrounding bone is the priority, whether ahead of an implant or as routine practice. Manufactured from surgical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
