Gracey 5/6 Curette, Anterior and Premolar

Gracey 5/6 Curette is an area-specific instrument that extends root planing coverage from anterior teeth into premolar surfaces, using the same single cutting edge offset at 70 degrees found across the Gracey series. Its slightly longer shank and blade than the 1/2 or 3/4 give it the reach needed for premolar surfaces while still adapting well to anterior teeth, which makes it a bridging instrument between the anterior-only Gracey patterns and the posterior-specific 7/8. The passive opposite edge continues to protect gingival tissue during subgingival strokes. Double-ended, medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable. Many Gracey sets include the 5/6 specifically to avoid a coverage gap between anterior and posterior instruments.
