Product Description
The mini Friedman bone rongeur is a 5.5″ (14 cm) end-cutting microsurgical rongeur with 1.3 mm wide jaws and a 15-degree slight curve, designed for precise bone removal in confined surgical sites where the 2.4 mm jaw of the standard Friedman cannot be positioned without contacting adjacent structures. The very fine 1.3 mm jaws enter narrow osseous access zones at implant sites, periapical windows, and periodontal osseous defects, removing bone in small controlled bites without disturbing the surrounding cortical walls, root surfaces, or soft tissue margins. The 15-degree slight curve improves visual access to the cutting tips during the working stroke compared to a fully straight jaw. Spring-return handle, medical-grade stainless steel, autoclavable. For bone only - never for root removal.
