The Olsen Hegar Needle Holder 15cm is the longest standard stainless steel version in the Olsen Hegar combination needle holder range. At 15 cm, it provides the extended reach needed for suturing in posterior quadrants - molar extraction sites, third molar sockets, retromolar pad closures, and palatal flap suturing - where shorter instruments require awkward wrist positioning. The built-in suture scissors located on the instrument shank allow suture cutting immediately after needle passage without changing instruments. Cross-serrated jaws and a ratchet locking mechanism ensure secure needle grip throughout the procedure. Fully autoclave-compatible stainless steel construction for routine sterilization.
